Learn about the search for Terra Australis and the early exploration and scientific endeavour which led to the first images of Australia being carried back to the heart of the Empire.


Nat Williams is the Treasures Curator at the National Library of Australia. He has worked at the National Library since 1998, first as Director of Exhibitions and more recently, as the Treasures Curator where he has been researching the Rex Nan Kivell Collection. He was also co-curator of Mapping our world in 2014.
