"After attending an ecology camp in Goongerah, East Gippsland 2001, I became aware that a large number of plants indigenous to that area were classified rare, vulnerable and endangered – approximately 125 out of 1300…I was inspired to research some of these plants to create a record for future reference which could also serve as a medium to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of our old-growth forest plant life."
