Georgia Chapman

" Eastern ornament has long been an ongoing source of inspiration and my current work explores the West’s fascination with the East… My fabrics evolve, often taking weeks to produce by layering texture, colour and pattern. The fabric is dyed, overdyed, handprinted, etched, embellished. I look back to other times, seek out textile traditions to authenticate my work… I collect and create anew."
