Vera Möller
"My work … employs motifs and constructed forms that reference
subjects as diverse as items of clothing, bio-manipulative processes, as well
as architectural, museological and open spaces. coockooland reflects my
particular interest in popular culture – fashion, architecture and
interior design… These hybrid forms might be interpreted as both
garments (jumpers, dresses, skirts and leggings, underwear, etc) and...
quasi-architectural structures incorporating windows (peepholes), aggregates
of wall and voids. They emphazise the ineffectiveness of interior spaces as a
protected private zone (masquerade)."
