Artist statement

As technology advances, so too does the importance of transient spaces within domestic and commercial environments. These spaces demand receptive furnishings that can adapt to the changing needs and comfort of those occupying them.

Hedge is a collection of lounges with accompanying ‘nestling’ tables which befit all spaces, offering varying lengths of cushion. Each Hedge lounge encourages interaction and exploration, accommodating the ever-changing seating desires of the modern consumer.

Hedge offers comfort in the form of effortless support, making the soft, undulating design ideal for napping, relaxing or waiting. The addition of ‘nestling’ tables can create informal workspaces. The tables can be configured among or around a lounge to provide dynamic work platforms.
