The 1990s brought about the brand called Troop, who made hi-top basketball sneakers aimed at the hip-hop genre. Being into musical tastes like LL Cool J and Public Enemy, I was drawn to purchase a pair of Troop Pro Models which were sold for a tidy sum at Central Station Records on Flinders Street. Those were the days!!
