NGV Business Council
The National Gallery of Victoria Business Council was established in 1988 to forge closer links between the National Gallery of Victoria and the business sector, to bring art and business together for the benefit of both.
The purpose of the Council is to assist the National Gallery of Victoria in raising funds for the purchase of art, sponsorship of exhibitions and other activities. Membership is an annual contribution of $25,000 (GST inclusive). We believe our members view their association as not only enjoyable, but a valuable business tool.
The Council operated its own art-related program and Business Council companies receive privileged access to the NGV and the opportunity to host private evenings around major blockbuster exhibitions
The NGV’s building and refurbishment program was one of the largest ever undertaken by any museum in the world. The result is two magnificent galleries: The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia at Federation Square and NGV International at 180 St Kilda Road. Business Council privileges and corporate entertaining opportunities apply at both locations.
