NGV Foundation

The NGV Foundation was created to attract and encourage donations to enable the Gallery to acquire works of art. Donations can also be made to support art acquisitions, our community programs, to fund necessary conservation work to preserve the Collection, and to other special projects. Alternatively, you can support the NGV through a bequest, which plays a major role in developing and enriching the Gallery. All donations contribute to the role we play within the community and your help is vital to our success.

The NGV Foundation also exists to honour the generous acts of benefaction that have made the NGV the much-loved cultural institution it is today. Without the critical support provided by the NGV Foundation, we could not maintain the Gallery’s significance for both the people of Victoria and international audiences.

All donations to the NGV are acknowledged through the NGV Foundation, with those who give $20,000 or more acknowledged as members of the NGV Foundation.

For further information or to donate a work of art please Contact NGV Foundation.

Gifts of $2 or more to the NGV are tax deductible.
