Supporters of Decorative Arts

The NGV Decorative Arts Collection includes exceptional holdings of British 18th and 19th century porcelain, silver and glass. There are, however, still significant areas such as work from the 20th century, which require development and investment.

Supporters of Decorative Arts has been established within the Foundation to strengthen and enrich the decorative arts collections by gathering together a group of interested individuals and companies who, through their interest and collecting passions, are willing to contribute financial support to this important area of the Gallery’s collection.

Open to individuals and companies, the Supporters of Decorative Arts group works to attract annual cash donations and secure gifts for major works of art for the NGV’s Decorative Arts Collections.

With your support we will be able to acquire the historic and contemporary masterpieces our great collection needs, and continue to celebrate the extraordinary depth of the NGV’s collection, a crucial resource for our community’s enjoyment and education.

Donations to the National Gallery of Victoria are tax deductible and all funds raised will be used for the acquisition of Decorative Arts.
