This work is part of my exploration of atmosphere and how it affects human emotions. It depicts a layer of symbolism, with the scene reflected in sunglasses and through the happy facial expressions of the siblings and their unconditional love. By using pastel pencils I was able to enhance the realism and fine details. The use of grey paper intensified the colours.
