Top off the NGV 150 pARTy Weekend festivities with an evening of live music and great food and wine – all on offer at pARTy after dark on Saturday night, across both gallery venues.
NGV Australia
5pm – 9pm
pARTy after dark on the Ground Level with Indigenous Cabaret including Lisa Maza, Kutcha Edwards, Emma Donovan and Constantina Bush and the Bushettes. Enjoy an evening of jazz performed by graduates of the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School on Level 3.
NGV International
7.30pm – midnight
Join the celebration as the Great Hall is transformed for pARTy after dark, with Combo La Revelacion, Dan Sultan and The Bamboos. All this and funky tunes from Fiona Scott-Norman throughout the night.

Combo la Revelacion
7.30–8.30pm
Combo la Revelacion formed in the summer of 1986 by Peruvian musical director Jorge Aguilar. This ten piece band is well known for its tight brass arrangements, musical precision and full percussion section.
Combo has made quite an impact due to its style and originality, and was among the first bands to introduce salsa to Australian audiences.
Dan Sultan

With a star that’s been swiftly rising since the release of his second and highly acclaimed album Get Out While You Can, Dan Sultan and his band's powerhouse performances are reputed to be amongst the most talked about shows in the country.
With a voice that is simultaneously sweet and rough, this young front man knows how to turn on a crowd. The musical partnership and great synergy between Scott Wilson and Dan Sultan is as visible on stage as it is on their albums. From haunting acoustic ballads to big band soul-rock guaranteed to make you move, Dan Sultan and his knock out band deliver a dynamic live set that will have you talking for days.

The Bamboos are generally acknowledged as Australia’s greatest modern Funk & Soul band. Emerging from the ‘Deep Funk’ scene of the early 2000’s, The Bamboos have since forged a unique sound of their own, combining elements of Old-School Funk, Hip Hop, Mod Rock, Psychedelic & Northern Soul.

Kevin Kropinyeri
Kevin Kropinyeri is fast becoming one of Australia’s leading Aboriginal stand-up comedians. After winning the Melbourne International Comedy Festivals prestigious Deadly Funny comedy competition, Kevin has gone on carving his own stand-up/theatre comedy show across the country.
Lisa Maza

Hot off the tour of Australia’s favourite theatre production The Sapphires, Lisa Maza is a multifaceted performer who has worked in television, theatre and other performance industries for many years. Usually performing as a duo with sibling Rachel Maza Long as the Maza Sisters, Lisa will be performing their songs accompanied by pianist.
Kutcha Edwards
6pm–6.30pm
Kutcha is a multi-talented Mutti Mutti man from the north-west of Victoria. During the course of his remarkable career, Kutcha's music and community work have seen him awarded NAIDOC Indigenous Person of the Year 2001-2002, and Male Artist of the Year at the 2001 Deadly Awards. Kutcha's rich voice and songs that put stories to music means he is sought out performer, appearing at WOMAD Adelaide, the Sydney Opera House and the Perth International Festival.
Emma Donovan
7pm–7.30pm
Emma Donovan has established herself as one of Australia’s finest Indigenous singer/songwriters. Emma has performed across the globe treating audiences to her rich soulful voice as a solo artist, and has also performed as part of the award winning Black Arm Band. Showcasing in Emma’s line up are talented artists Deline Brisoce, Jessie Lloyd and Neda Rahmani.
Constantina Bush and the Bushettes
8pm–8.30pm
Let this deadly Indigenous trio take you on a unique romp of comedy, romance and theatre. This subversive, Myall performer will charm you with her stories and songs that follow her move from a dusty cattle station in the outback to the bright lights of the city to pursue her dream of becoming a showgirl. Delivered with the unique bush-style camp and outrageous wit that has propelled Constantina to become Aboriginal Australia’s best loved darling diva.
