Physical description
The dress has a bodice constructed from a recycled long-line bra, dyed green and decorated overall with shells painted green and handsewn to the bra. The skirt sectiion is made up of tiers of serrated strips of plastic, placed in alternate bands of blue, green and purple, slightly overlapping. This creates the effect of a scaled surface. The back of the skirt has an attached train of tulle in deep purple and blue. The train fans out like a fishtail. The skirt is attached to a black cotton ground and it is lined with black silk.
