Music sounds better on a Friday night. After another sell-out season, NGV Friday Nights returns for the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® exhibition, Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi.

Don some colour, dance to Melbourne’s best bands and DJs, dine on French-inspired cuisine, and experience the iridescent works of beloved French painter Pierre Bonnard – immersed within the contemporary designs of award-winning Paris-based architect and icon India Mahdavi.

EXPERIENCE

Enjoy a relaxed Drop-by Drawing session inspired by Pierre Bonnard’s colourful paintings and India Mahdavi’s exhibition design. Hosted by Melbourne based artists who will guide you in a range of drawing activities designed to hone your creative skills. These activities will happen over three sessions throughout the NGV Friday Nights Season are not to be missed.

Annie Smithers at NGV

New menu announced!
Combine your after-hours visit to Pierre Bonnard: Designed by India Mahdavi with a French farmhouse inspired menu by du Fermier’s chef Annie Smithers this winter. Package includes Friday Night ticket and dinner at the Garden Restaurant by Annie Smithers.
