| Individual Task | Observe the fractured and fragmented objects. How do they relate to a cubist painting? What meaning and message is conveyed by the title of this work? | 
| Research Questions | Research other works by George Segal. After viewing several works comment on what you see as distinctive about his style? | 
| Group Task | Compare and contrast Cubist works by Pablo Picasso and two by Georges Braques. List the similarities and differences between the works ( refer to subject, size, colours, texture, composition). | 
| Discussion Questions | What effect do you think Segal is trying acheive make by including a mop and musical notation paper in the tableaux? Would the meaning and message of this work be the same if it was a painting? |
