Lead your own group through the NGV Collection or one of our exhibitions. Pre-book your group to receive important pre-visit information about visiting the Gallery with a group, and access free online resources prior to your visit.

Students will be guided through the Gallery by an NGV Educator and learn about historical and contemporary international art through exploring the NGV Collection.
Cost $15 AUD per student (1 hour)
Students will be guided through the Gallery by an NGV Educator and learn about Australian art highlights, including Indigenous Australian art, through exploring the NGV Collection.
Students will be guided through the Gallery by an NGV Educator to learn about how artists and designers use colour and shape in creative ways to express themselves.
Students will visit the Great Hall to see the famous coloured glass ceiling, and explore highlights of the NGV Collection, including works by artists such as Tiepolo, Monet and Picasso.
Following the gallery tour, students will visit the NGV art studio to create their own colourful and luminous window design inspired by the Great Hall ceiling.
Cost $30 AUD per student (2 hours)
Students will join an NGV Educator for an illustrated introduction to Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality and Cai Guo-Qiang: The Transient Landscape. This talk is presented in a lecture theatre and is designed to prepare students for their own self-guided walk through the exhibition following the talk.
Cost $12 per student, plus exhibition admission (45 mins, plus viewing time). Minimum 20 students.
Following an exhibition introduction and self-guided viewing, students will visit the NGV art studio to create their own design for a terracotta warrior fit for an emperor.
Cost $35 per student, plus exhibition admission (2 hours, plus viewing time)
