When a Weimaraner joined the William Wegman family in 1970, the artist found his muse. This dog was the first in a line of canine collaborators and became one of his most celebrated subjects.

Exhibition curator Susan van Wyk explores the versatility of Wegman’s practice and how his portraits reveal his ongoing fascination with art history.
