The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), in partnership with The Museum of Modern Art, New York (MoMA), will present MoMA at NGV: 130 Years of Modern and Contemporary Art as the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces exhibition in 2018. The exhibtion will open on 9 June 2018.
Featuring over 200 works from MoMA’s collection, the exhibition will explore changes in art and design from late 19th century urban and industrial transformation through to the digital and global present. These developments will be traced through the work of a range seminal modern and contemporary artists, from Pablo Picasso, to Jackson Pollock and Cindy Sherman.
