Past program

During June, drop by Community Hall and take part in Rel Pham’s drawing activity where you can see through the artist’s eyes and discover different perspectives.

For Melbourne Now, Rel worked with the NGV to create TEMPLE – an installation exploring Rel’s ideas about computers and the links he has made with a set of Taoist symbols and beliefs known as Bagua, which date back to ancient times in China.

Rel Pham makes art that explores notions of time and the world of technology. Also inspired by times spent with his dad in Chinatown, playing video games, or days amongst nature, Pham’s work tells stories to express his experiences and ways of seeing the world. In this drawing activity, it’s your turn to think about how the past, present and future influence your life.
