We are very grateful that the Victorian Government has announced its exceptional commitment to fund the construction of Australia’s largest gallery of contemporary art and design, NGV Contemporary. With more than 10,000 square metres of gallery space, it will be the largest museum of contemporary art and design in Australia.

Schools can stay in touch with the NGV through a virtual excursion. Hosted by an NGV educator, introduce your students to NGV Collection works and exhibitions from your classroom or home.
Add some art to learning. Creatively connect the NGV Collection with learning areas and capabilities across the curriculum.
Creative Catalyst provides high ability students in levels 3–10 with creative and challenging opportunities across the curriculum. Inspired by the NGV Collection and exhibitions, the programs leverage international and Australian art and design as a catalyst for learning.
