Past program

Melbourne Now artist and educator, Emma Armstrong-Porter is a multidisciplinary artist who works with relief printmaking and chemistry-based photographic techniques. Often employing the visual language of tattoos or symbols to communicate a narrative, their work is influenced by lived experience of queerness, neurodiversity and institutionalisation in the mental health system.

In this workshop for teens and adults presented during Pride Month, Emma will guide participants through designing and drawing their own set of autobiographical symbols.

Please note, no art-making experience is necessary and all materials are provided.
