With Greater Melbourne expected to be home to 8 million people by 2050, rapid population growth and development is bringing significant change to suburban neighbourhoods and activity centres. The processes and impacts of rapid growth and change are complex. The complexity of change coupled with the diversity within the community suggests a multiplicity of visions for the future of the City.

This panel discussion, led by local planning and design experts, will explore urban regeneration and transformative design processes, with an emphasis on how visualisation and exhibition can enhance design, decision making and participation in shaping the future City.
