Be among the first school groups to explore NGV Triennial 2026, a major exhibition that celebrates contemporary art and design. Presented by NGV educators, this free virtual program will introduce students to a range of spectacular and surprising artworks and installations from the exhibition. Students will also get a glimpse into some of the immersive and playful exhibition spaces, and enjoy drawing and design activities inspired by the exhibition for some end-of-year fun.

Students participating in this program will need:

  • Two sheets of A4 plain drawing paper
  • Grey lead pencil
  • Colour pencils

Learning Objectives

  • Discuss a selection of key artworks in NGV Triennial 2026.
  • Identify key ideas, materials and approaches in contemporary art and design.
  • Respond creatively through drawing and design activities inspired by the exhibition.
