A two-day symposium, hosted by Deakin University and the City of Greater Geelong – a UNESCO City of Design – explores novel ways of using design and creativity to develop cities into innovation ecosystems. It focuses on three key stakeholders required to create innovation ecosystems: businesses, government, and research and education institutions.
Presentations and panel discussions feature international design experts from a range of organisations that are helping shape the changing roles of these key stakeholders. The symposium forges ways to develop new opportunities for individuals and institutions to work together across many shared challenges.
