Ikenobo Ikebana: Origins of Ikebana was co-ordinated by the Ikenobo School and hosted by the National Gallery of Victoria. This exhibition presents the art of the Ikebana that originated in Japan more than 500 years ago. Ikebana is accompanied by daily demonstrations of masters of the ancient Ikenobo school who travelled from Japan to Melbourne especially for this event.
