NGV Collections Strategy
The NGV Collections Strategy is central to our management of the collection and to our engagement with the community. The Collections Strategy is a statement of one of the core purposes of the NGV: namely the acquisition of significant art works for the NGV’s permanent collection. This document addresses how this purpose will be pursued over the next three years through the Gallery’s collecting goals.

The National Gallery of Victoria is an approved borrowing institution under the Australian Government’s Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan Scheme.
