Physical description
Jar with a wide, flat base and ovoid body with wide shoulder. The jar is solid except for a shallow cavity below the lid. The lid is in the form of a jackal head, its basic features having been carved out. The workmanship is quite simplistic. The jackal head represents the god Duamutef, one of the four sons of Horus.
