Physical description
Double wool cloth woven with alternating repeat bands of birds and flowering plants with serpentine foliage. On one band a pair of perched birds with red feathered heads face back at each other. The colour of their plumage is woven in layers of colour graduating to white, blue, green, and pink. The other pair of birds are in flight and directly face each other, woven blue and white. Foliage is woven in a pale blue, grey tone and the main flowers highlighted with green. Smaller flowers are woven in orange and white. The cloth is double woven producing a rasied pillow effect between motif and background filled with a mid shade of blue. The panel length is comprised of two joined pieces.
