Physical description
This large storage vessel displays the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, the appreciation of beauty found in imperfection, and a love for the old and worn. Created with rough clay and fired in a single-chamber kiln, naked flames and liquifying ash have created natural colour tones and cascading glazing that is recognised as a collaboration between the potter and the forces of nature.
