The textile hanging has several metres of beige silk satin printed with a series of black roundels in an intricated lace-like pattern. The satin merges into a band of dark brown velvet printed in beige with a geometric pattern , attached to a narrow border of pale grey velvet, printed with a darker grey diamond pattern. The hanging finishes with a band of dark brown velvet with a devoré geometric pattern; the section is also lined with beige silk satin, masking the sheer sections of the cloth. The top of the hanging has a narrow slipcase for a dowel to facilitate the hanging of the work.
