Prepared by the Shepparton Arts Centre, this exhibition looking at fifty years of Australian pottery featured work by various members of the Boyd family (Arthur, Merric, Lucy, David and Hermia), as well as John Perceval, Margaret Preston, Marguerite Mahood, Klytie Pate, Gladys Reyell, William Ricketts and more.

The exhibition highlighted the burgeoning interest in a uniquely Australian approach to pottery, spearheaded by work coming out of the Arthur Merric Boyd Pottery studio in Murrumbeena. Potters began incorporating Australian flora and fauna into their work in the first half of the twentieth century, creating a uniquely Australian style of collectible pottery for postwar homes.
