This exhibition was first arranged as the Auckland City Art Gallery’s contribution to the 1969 Auckland Festival. It features eighteen banners by Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana, Helen Frankenthaler and Jim Dine, amongst others. The banners are displayed in the Great Hall.
