Design With Paper

Design With Paper was organised by RMIT lecturer Gerard Herbst for industrial design students. Participants were invited to make a piece of art or design using a sheet of paper, in the tradition of Josef Albers and the Bauhaus. The exhibition was hosted at the NGV’s Design Centre. The exhibition introduction stated: ‘This exhibit may well stimulate and actually engage viewers to enter similar playful circumstances. Topological exercises and these shown here may bring about serious considerations in inventiveness.’
