Ground Level
This exhibition focuses on two key periods in Bourgeois’s career: the totemic works of the late 1940s to early 1950s when Bourgeois made her initial impact as a sculptor; and the formally more varied and expressive works of the past decade, which have consolidated her position as one of the most influential forces in contemporary art practice and theory.
