Ground Level
This exhibition offers Australians the opportunity to view works of supreme rarity and quality from the hands of some of the greatest masters of European art. For the first time, the Albertina has lent a selection of its fine graphic treasures for exhibition in an overseas country.
The seventy-five works date from the 15th to 20th centuries, and every care must be taken to preserve these delicate and fragile drawings. That the early drawings have survived at all is a tribute to the great care they have received, first in private and now in a public collection.
