Spanning the years 1930–1975, this solo survey exhibition showcased Max Dupain’s diverse body of work, including his iconic Sunbaker photograph and other architectural and landscape images. With the assistance of the Visual Arts Board, the NGV purchased several of Dupain’s photographs. The exhibition helped to solidify Dupain’s place as a prominent figure in Australian photography.
