Level 3
This survey brings together a selection of Robert MacPherson’s work from 1975, the year of the artist’s first public exhibition, to the present. Encompassing the key areas of MacPherson’s practice, it includes a number of earlier works not previously shown as well as a recent, major undertaking displayed here for the first time. The exhibition traces MacPherson’s move from investigations into the painterly process to explorations of language and other sign systems.
