Physical description
This silk hanging is decorated with two repeated geometric motifs arranged in rows, in white, yellow, red and green dyes against a blue ground. The floral medallion and lozenge shapes are typical of the oversized silver pectoral ornaments favoured by many Central Asian cultures, including Uzbek and Turkomen groups. Lined with cotton.
