Physical description
This flat-topped circular hat is in the form of a squat cylinder, with a section shaped to frame the face when the cap is worn snugly on the head. It is covered in metallic-thread embroidery, with coloured silk highlights, and depicts a flower within concentric circles. The leaves emanating from the flower’s stem are in the form of teardrop-shaped boteh (also known as paisley) motifs.
