Physical description
Kandakid, the male plains kangaroo is represented in X-ray and bears rarrk (crosshatched designs) for the Mardayin ceremony on his hind legs, indicating his Dreaming significance. A male Mimih hunter carrying a dilly bag is depicted on the right as a red ochre shadow on the white background, with spears and spear thrower nearby. In common with the artist’s paintings of human figures, the mimih’s genitalia is clearly indicated.
