About this work

The runway presentation of this collection was set against a painted backdrop of murals of women. The images were also translated onto garments in patchwork form, using different-coloured wool segments. Here the outline of a black bra is placed over the bust, signifying women’s power within the restrained silhouette of a classic tailored shift. Prada consistently creates clothing to suit contemporary lifestyles, while continuing to innovate and push contemporary design through clever embellishments.
