Physical description
The outstanding Indigenous footballer, Syd Jackson played for the Carlton Blues in the 1970 VFL Grand Final when Carlton defeated their arch rival the Collingwood Magpies, by coming from 44 points down at half time: the greatest ever Grand Final comeback in VFL history.
