About this work

Zerline is a key work from Christian Dior’s final collection. Incorporating skilfully arranged crisp silk taffeta in jet black with a dramatic shawl collar to frame the wearer’s décolletage, Dior completes the look with an oversized black silk rose corsage. Zerline proves again how central the use of black in all its forms has been to the creation of magnificent Dior designs.
