About this work
This is one of only three original versions of this bag, which has since been put into production by the fashion house. It features a black motorbike helmet outer and a nude leather lining and took fifteen hours to manufacture. This work embodies one of Margiela’s core philosophies as a designer: reimagining the possibilities of materials to create works of value.
