About this work

Bias-cutting is a key element of John Galliano’s design aesthetic, and one he has revisited throughout his career. This example from Galliano’s collection In a Boudoir Mood draws thematically from Dior’s preceding haute couture collection Mata Hari, and shows Galliano’s dexterity with opulent fabrics and sensuous form.
