About this work

Christopher Boots is a Melbourne-based lighting designer who founded his studio in 2011. In 2005 he graduated from the National School of Design, Prahran, where he specialised in product design engineering. Boots’s lighting practice explores the interplay between nature, architecture, symbolism and geology. ORP: Oblique rhombic prism is regarded as one of his most accomplished designs, notable for its technical precision and deceptively simple yet complex form.
