About this work
From 2006 until her resignation in 2014, Frida Giannini was the creative director of Gucci. Represented for the firm’s 2007 resort collection, this bomber jacket was nicknamed the ‘Madonna’ Gucci jacket, after the pop star wore a purple version for her performance at the 2005 MTV European Music Awards.
