About this work
Former Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele is known for his intuitive, emotional interpretation of historic and intellectual references. This is exemplified by his spring–summer 2016 collection, an assemblage of patchwork, intricate embroidery and patterns of morphing creatures, featuring trees of life, tropical foliage and celestial motifs.
