Physical description
Flat wood shield of oblong shape, narrow at the top and ending in a square central knob at one end. The design is slightly raised by flat in red-brown. Outlined in black on a white ground and of a central cruciform cross at top, bottom and centre with four pairs of radiating arms. A fibre band is tied at either side, centre and across the back.
