About this work
Jean Paul Gaultier weaves the vernacular into couture, frequently combining denim and silhouettes in jeans, parkas and sweaters. For the Andro Jeans collection, Gaultier played with denim and American workwear codes, interrogating ideas of masculine uniforms and archetypes through interplay with exaggerated proportions.
