About this work

Jean Paul Gaultier described his 1995 collection as encompassing a century of fashion: ‘You have to mix up the decades to achieve a modern silhouette’. Gaultier is constantly transforming fashion and design, subverting the norms of dress through androgyny, transgression and timeless exuberance.
